Kickoff meeting
On the 6th of June 2019, the Kick-off meeting within the project “Renewable Energy Sources for smart sustainable health Centers, University Education and other public buildings - RESCUE”, was held in Novi Sad. The event was held at the Central University building – the Amphitheater, with 70 people in attendance (guests from regional authorities, partner institutions and other interested parties). At the beginning of the meeting Mr. Rudolf Tot greeted the attending guests on behalf of the Provincial Secretariat, while recognizing the benefits of the RESCUE project for the community. Continuing on the same note, prof. dr Edita Stokic talked about the specific benefits of modern energy generation technologies for a demand heavy health care sector. On behalf of the lead partner institution, the attending guests were greeted by Prof. dr Darko Stefanovic, who presented the institution main achievement and extended the institutional support for the RESCUE project. Next, prof. dr Boris Dumnic, RESCUE project coordinator, introduced the main objectives for the RESCUE project and explained main output indicator that would be achieved during the project implementation. Special attention was directed at the project consortium composition, recognizing the natural synergy between health care sector and higher education institutions, especially when the dissemination and promotion of the project results is considered. After a formal introductory section of the meeting, a representative from each partner had a short presentation in order to present the institution and the institution’s main role within the RESCUE project. The attendees had the pleasure of hearing more about the specifics of the systems planned at the partner institutions from: Prof. dr. sc. Domagoj Drenjančević, Prof. dr Damir Šljivac, Prof. dr Marinko Stojkov, Radisav Lukić, Doc. dr Bane Popadić. At the end of the event, all attendees were invited to further discuss the project specific details over appropriate refreshments and cocktail.
