Educational workshop event within the RESCUE project was held on the 15th and 16th of December 2021 in Slavonski Brod. The event was held at the University of Slavonski Brod (UNISB), Mechanical Engineering Faculty in Slavonski Brod (MEFSB) with 85 people attending.

RESCUE project was presented at SKOBS (Student Conference about Traffic Safety) conference, during 12-15th November 2021 at Zlatibor. The general goal and purpose of this conference are dedicated to providing a forum for presentation and discussion of the new trends for traffic and transportation safety issues and other related areas.

RESCUE project was presented at the exhibition event, named Explorer Night at 24th September at Novi Sad. This event is dedicated to popularizing science and learning through fun. The open space in front of the BIG shopping center in Novi Sad was an ideal place where the wider community could get informed about the goal and achievements of the RESCUE project.

RESCUE project was presented at the 10th international exhibition and conference event, named days of Energetics and Investments, during 3-4th November at Novi Sad Fair.

The general goal and purpose of this symposium are dedicated to providing a forum for presentation and discussion of the state-of-art of Power electronics and other related areas for power engineering.

Partners meeting within the RESCUE project was held on the 22nd of September of 2021. in Osijek. The 19 people were in attendance at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek where the event was organized.

RESCUE project was presented at the first regional exhibition and conference event, named EV Days, during 9-10th September at Novi Sad Fair.

Partners meeting within the RESCUE project was held on the 7th of June of 2021. in Osijek. The 33 people were in attendance at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek where the event was organized.

Improvement of energy efficiency at the part of the Mechanical Institute building (one of the FTN buildings) is currently in progress. We are working on the substitution of windows and doors with new PVC and aluminum materials that will have higher energy efficiency characteristics.

After detailed preparation, the installation of FERIT 1 RESe 80 kW PV system with 20 kW of the battery storage system in smart main building microgrid as well as FERIT 2 40 kW PV system on University Campus building started on March 15th, 2021.

The mounting of the photovoltaic power plant and the battery storage system at UNISB was performed continuously for around one month. The photovoltaic power plant has a nominal power of 64 kW and it is composed of 200 PV panels with a nominal power of 320 W.

The continuity of electrical energy supply for the Departement of Eye Diseases within Clinical Hospital Center Osijek (KBCO) is provided by the new modern and high-quality biodiesel generator. The power of the generator is 125 kW.

Although during the previous period the implementation of the RESCUE project was significantly impacted by the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19, the project consortium (FTN, FERIT, KCV, KBCO, and SFSB) found the best possible solutions to progress the implementation of project activities.

The implementation of the 50 kW Photovoltaic power plant at the roof of the Mechanical Institute building (one of the FTN buildings) is almost operational.

Installation of a 230 kW photovoltaic (PV) system within the RESCUE project at two public buildings of Clinical Hospital Center (KBC) Osijek started in October 2020.

RESCUE project was presented at IEEE Smart Systems and Technologies 2020 (SST2020) conference special session on Oct 14, 2020 with 4 scientific papers from all project partners.

We are very proud to present our new renewable energy facility which is installed at the roof of the Medical Rehabilitation Clinic. It is the solar thermal system that is sponsored by the Interreg IPA II Croatia Serbia Programme under the RESCUE project. The facility has 20 solar collectors that were manufactured by Bosch and the power of the facility is 30kW.

The meeting of the representatives of KBCO and KCV was held on the 8th of June 2020 at the Clinical Center of Vojvodina after the project management meeting within the RESCUE project. The 6 people from partner institutions were in attendance, including the director of KBCO doc. dr. sc. Željko Zubčić, dr. med., the director of KCV prof. dr Edita Stokić and the RESCUE project coordinator prof. dr Boris Dumnić.

The project management meeting within the RESCUE project was held on the 8th of June 2020 in Novi Sad, at the Faculty of Technical Sciences. The 27 people from partner institutions were in attendance. At the beginning of the meeting prof. dr Boris Dumnić greeted the attending guests on behalf of the Faculty of Technical Sciences team members and introduced the main meeting topics on the agenda.

A financial meeting within the RESCUE project was held on the 30th of December 2019. The event was held at the Faculty of technical sciences building, with 19 people in attendance from the partner institutions. At the beginning of the meeting prof. dr Boris Dumnić greeted the attending guests on behalf of the Faculty of Technical Sciences team members and introduced the main meeting topics in the agenda.

Partners meeting within the RESCUE project was held on December 11th in Slavonski Brod. The meeting was attended by 24 participants. At the beginning of the meeting Prof. Dr. Ivan Samardžić, Dean of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty in Slavonski Brod (MEFSB) greeted the attending guests emphasizing the benefits of the RESCUE project for the Faculty, for all partners of RESCUE project and for the community.

On November 29, 2019, the Faculty of Technical Sciences was organized a lecture on renewable energy sources, electromobility, which is one of the most current topics globally, as well as the use of renewable sources in electric cars. Prof. dr. Boris Dumnić gave an introduction speech, after which he pointed out the necessity of using renewable energy sources, as well as the importance of the issue of electromobility.

Meeting of all RESCUE project partners was held on October 30 in Osijek. The meeting was attended by 30 participants. After a warm welcome, the meeting started in the hall of FERIT.

Technical project management meeting was held in the Amphitheater of the Central University building. The moderator of the meeting was RESCUE project coordinator prof. dr Boris Dumnić. Shortly introducing what has been done to date, prof. Dumnić presented the participants from the partner institutions with the future activities within the Period 2 for the RESCUE project.
